FAQ
Frequently asked questions!
What style of yoga does Vyana Yoga offer?
We offer a variety of yoga styles including Slow Flow (gentle yoga) and Power Vinyasa (fast-paced yoga), as well as private practices. Each style offers unique benefits, so we encourage you to explore and find what resonates best with you.
How often should I practice?
Yoga is beneficial even with just one session per week. For more noticeable progress, aim for 2-3 sessions per week. Consistency is key to experiencing the full benefits of yoga.
Can I eat before yoga?
It's generally best to practice yoga on an empty or light stomach. If you need to eat something, opt for a small snack like a piece of fruit or yogurt at least an hour before class.
I'm new to yoga, how do I prepare for my first class?
Prepare for your first yoga class by arriving early to set up your mat and wearing comfortable clothing. Stay hydrated, avoid heavy meals beforehand, and come with an open mind to embrace the experience of self-discovery and relaxation in a beginner-friendly environment.
Do I need to bring my own mat?
It's best to bring your own yoga mat for hygiene reasons and personal comfort!
What if I'm not flexible?
Flexibility is not a requirement for yoga! Our classes focus on gradual improvement and relaxation. Yoga is about finding your own balance and comfort in each pose.
What should I wear?
We recommend comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows for easy movement. Yoga pants, leggings, or shorts with a breathable top are ideal. Avoid anything too loose or restrictive.
How early should I arrive before class
We recommend arriving at least 10-15 minutes before the class starts. This gives you enough time to check in, set up your mat, and mentally prepare for your practice.
Do you offer private practices?
Yes, we offer private practices for individuals or small groups. Check the "Book Online" section for more information on scheduling and pricing.
